Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions  The federal guidelines to land acquisition.  This is a very large file (1.8 megabytes) and is in pdf formant.

The Trust for Public Land  An organization involved in land conservation.  There are often sales of large tract of land noted on their site.

Isolated Wetlands - Tribune Newspapers (Los Angeles Times) article dated November 16, 2003 - Not all isolated wetlands are protected.   ..."The U.S. Supreme Court rules in 2001, that under the Clean Water Act, the government can protect waterways that are navigable or tributaries or marshes that drain into navigable waters -- but can no longer regulate "non-navigable, isolated intrastate" ponds, wetlands or mud flats just because they provide a habitat for migratory birds."
