Who else to be the managing director of an office that specializes in unusual properties, other than someone who has appraised a railroad station.  Amanda Howard is a detailed and thorough real estate professional who brings sound judgement and diverse experience in commercial appraisal to the position of Director of The Gorman Group's Midwest office.  Her market insights and attention to detail have won praise from both clients and industry peers. 

In addition to appraising an Amtrak Station Amanda has appraised:

• Athletic Buildings - including a YWCA

She is also well versed in appraising more conventional properties such as industrial  and retail buildings.  Geographically, her work has taken her from rural Illinois to east coast States like Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In addition to purchasing, rehabbing and reselling properties on her own account, Amanda's family roots include ownership of shopping centers and other properties in the Chicago Metro area - real estate is in her blood.

Amanda graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in both finance and marketing, holds a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license.
