Phil Groebe

A resident of the southwest suburbs of Chicago all his life, Phil now resides in Tinley Park with his wife Donna. He has four adult children and two beautiful grandsons and loves every minute he can steal with his family.

Phil has been with the Gorman Group since about 1983 with a brief stint with other firms in Chicago, and is the Senior Appraiser at the Gorman Group Ltd. He is an Illinois Certified General Appraiser. He is also a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker, licensed Real Estate Pre-licensure Instructor and a licensed Real Estate CE Instructor. He has authored Continuing Education courses and is currently an instructor for the Realtors Real Estate School of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Real Estate Education Company. As a degreed Industrial Engineer, Phil has a good knowledge of industrial property appraisal as well as commercial, large residential and other income properties.

Of special note, Phil appraises most of the automotive types of properties that the Gorman Group is asked to value. Phil is a race car hobbyist who designs and builds "Indyformula" cars. His cars are known throughout the Midwest and have won many honors - as well as races.
