There was a time when appraising automobile dealerships was a rather simple job. Now it is much more difficult. The clustering of dealerships has become much more pronounced – and they now like to be near major shopping malls. Also, the size of the buildings has changed – dramatically. The newer dealerships are much smaller than the old ones. Finally, the number of dealership is diminishing. We are finding that many of these properties have to have a completely new use.
