When you are shopping you probably don’t give a lot of thought to how the packaged food is assembled, but it is mostly done in a factory like building. The inner building is typically FDA compliant, finished with PVC type walls. and often has “clean rooms.” Employees entering these facilities have to follow certain hygienic practices which typically include sanitation of even their shoes.
