Network Location Studies Development of a network location strategy is of paramount importance to businesses that need to be concerned about pirating sales or services from other commonly owned facilities. Local demographics and geography play an important role in developing a comprehensive network. For example, in New York city, a network of branches for a fast food facility might allow for stores to be physically located much closer than in Santa Fe. In New York, people walk to stores. In Santa Fe, they drive. The old fashioned method of "dropping a one or two mile circle around a store" does not fit all locations. The service that we provide allows the customer to see, on maps, the actual market area of their stores or branches. Many companies provide demographic maps - what we provide is an actual visit to the facilities. With a single team looking at all of the facilities, a comprehensive and unbiased analysis can be developed. |
