Robert C. Gorman, MAI
Bob Gorman brings in-depth knowledge and vast experience to every appraisal project. He relishes a challenge and has the ability to take on themost unusual of assignments.
In addition to operating The Gorman Group, Bob has served on many boards and commissions. He is past chairman of the State of Illinois Appraisal Licensing Board and a former member of the Appraisal Foundation advisory committee. In fact, Bob actually wrote the first appraisal licensing bill for Illinois Those positions gave him the opportunity to study the laws impacting appraisers on a national basis as well as within Illinois. He also rewrote the Illinois Real Estate Appraisal Act and is former president of the Illinois Chapter of the American Guild of Appraisers – an AFL-CIO affiliated union.
Bob has been involved in many community activities. He was the treasurer of the local library, served on the Board of Trustees for the Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation, and was on the advisory board for the Juvenile Diabetes division of LaRabida Children’s Hospital (division of University of Chicago Hospital).
A native of Chicago’s south side, Bob resides in the Village of Frankfort with his wife, Margaret. Their two adult children live with their families in a southwest suburb.

Amanda Wilson, MAI
Amanda Howard, MAI, specializes in appraising commercial, industrial and unique or difficult properties such as golf courses. She brings sound judgement and diverse experience in commercial appraisal to her assignments.
Amanda’s market insights and attention to detail have won praise from both clients and industry peers.
Geographically, her work has taken her from rural Illinois to States like Colorado, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
When she’s not working on an appraisal, Amanda is taking care of her three children and helping her husband with his home building business. You might say, she knows real estate from the ground-up.
Amanda graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in both finance and marketing and has earned her MAI, a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis.

Robert J. Anton, Jr., MAI
Robert Anton, Jr. joined The Gorman Group in 2012. His well-grounded perspective, natural “feel” for real estate and native intelligence make him a valued addition to our team. He brings meticulous attention to detail and keen insight to each assignment.
Likely one of the most unusual appraisals he has done was the appraisal of an island resort which included a nine-hole golf course.
In addition to extensive experience in rehabbing and working with contractors, Rob is also a landlord and property owner. He decided to turn his knowledge of and passion for real estate into a full-time career as a real estate appraiser.
Rob studied at the University of New Mexico, earning his Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. It was his study of ancient buildings that sparked an interest in real estate.
Rob lives in Northwest Indiana with his wife and two daughters.

Brian M. Masterson, sRA, CGA
Brian Masterson, SRA, CGA, became a real estate appraiser in 1996. After earning his SRA designation, which is the highest ranking a residential appraiser can achieve, he earned a CGA designation to become a commercial real estate appraiser in 2017.
An an accomplished appraiser, Brian is actively involved in the industry. He has served as a national review appraiser for Illinois’ largest sub- prime lender and served as their chief review appraiser from 2000 to 2005. FHA-approved for both residential and 203K mortgage appraisals since 1997, Brian is also a Certified FEMA Disaster Inspector. He has been invited to speak to the FBI’s mortgage fraud task force, has acted as a consultant to the City of Chicago’s Department of Housing and Economic Development, and has been featured as an expert on real estate in both print journals and radio programs.
Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (ICAP) and served on the 2010 Public Relations and National Appraisal Coalition Committees.
Brian and his wife live in Frankfort with their children, when they are not attending college.

Kimberly A. Redelman, Certified General Appraiser
Kim Redelman, CGA, has been working in the real estate industry since 1987 and has over 25 years of direct experience appraising real estate. An Indiana Certified General appraiser, Kim has been associated with the Gorman Group since 1998 and is the manager of our Indiana office.
A seasoned professional, Kim brings her experience and insight to bear on each appraisal she performs. She holds herself to a high standard, delivering well-grounded opinions of value.
Kim and her husband live in the town of Valparaiso, Indiana. Inasmuch as Kim is a very young grandmother, she enjoys spending off time with her grandchildren.
